The restorative dentist of the 21st century must be a renaissance person by rigorously pursuing extracurricular experience and continuing education to be knowledgeable in all facets of dental specialties. Although choosing to limit practice to cosmetic and restorative dentistry, and prosthetics, the restorative dentist is able to gather and lead a team of specialists to comprehensively treatment plan and effectively orchestrate treatment for the benefit of the patient. Dentistry as a specialty of medicine is becoming increasingly complex and demands a team approach to difficult problems.

A commitment to engaging ones mind, seeking out new experiences, acting in leadership roles and absorbing new information and treatment modalities is essential to a dental practice that seeks to set itself apart from the rest.

My position as Section Chief of Restorative Dentistry, Department of Dentistry, Yale New Haven Hospital, mandates that I must stay current with the newest trends and developments.

My resume that follows reflects my philosophy of practice.
